Also, dosn't the fact that Bonds and Sheffield previously had a falling out mean that Sheef would have to be traded/cut in order to minimize any potential clubhouse disruptions between the two? I Cant see any sceneario where taking whatever production Sheff may have left and turning that into a sunk cost is seen as a move in the right direction. Great post.
