Unless one of their young relievers (Zumaya, or maybe someone else like Cruceta or Bautista) shows he's capable of taking over that role, the Tigers will have an opening for a closer next season. And they'll have the money to hand out to, with Rogers, Pudge, Todd Jones, and Jacque Jones off the books. If K-Rod hits the open market, I'd be shocked if the Tigers didn't go after him.
