Sheff to the DL
posted in 2007 season, injuries |Gary Sheffield, who I wrote about earlier today, went on the disabled list, effective Aug. 22. He’ll be eligible to come off Sept. 6.
Timo Perez was called up to take his place. I’m not sure exactly who I was thinking of when I said Sheff needed to give up his 25 man roster spot until he was healthy, but I’m pretty sure I wasn’t thinking of Timo Perez.
