You CAN spell Polanco without ‘E’
posted in 2007 season |Placido Polanco completed 648 chances without an error, giving him the record at second base. I’m surprised that it isn’t higher. Second base is tough, but I am surprised you don’t even have to go a full season to set that record. He’s 10 games from setting the most consecutive errorless games by a second baseman, 143. The former chances and current games record is held by Luis Castillo.
