You CAN spell Polanco without ‘E’

Placido Polanco completed 648 chances without an error, giving him the record at second base. I’m surprised that it isn’t higher. Second base is tough, but I am surprised you don’t even have to go a full season to set that record. He’s 10 games from setting the most consecutive errorless games by a second baseman, 143. The former chances and current games record is held by Luis Castillo.
