Once my wife was awake for the night, she was looking at me strange because I was bouncing around the house like an idiot. I started telling her that this was the first Tigers no-no since '84, and I was 5 at the time. This was the first time since before I was old enough to have a team to cheer for that I was able to cheer for the pitcher throwing a no hitter.
