They're not going to improve much on 95 wins and they certainly aren't going to improve much on their postseason. Not only that, they are bringing back a vast majority of their playoff roster with all the other changes besides Sheff coming in relatively minor roles. Other teams improved more because they had more room for improvement. I think it was a great move for the 2007 Tiger team, but I think it’s silly to say they’re the most improved. When you are followed by large signings of D-Mat, JD Drew, Gil Meche, Bonds, Zito, etc it's pretty easy to get forgotten especially when the Tigers didn't give up all that much. I agree with you that it was a great move but the Tigers are not the most improved this off season :/ They had a good off season but Cleveland, Boston notably had better.
