		<description>I think it was a great move for the 2007 Tiger team, but I think it's silly to say they're the most improved. They're not going to improve much on 95 wins and they certainly aren't going to improve much on their postseason. Not only that, they are bringing back a vast majority of their playoff roster with all the other changes besides Sheff coming in relatively minor roles. Other teams improved more because they had more room for improvement.</description>

		<description>I'm not sure it was understated as much as just happened so early in the off season. When you are followed by large signings of D-Mat, JD Drew, Gil Meche, Bonds, Zito, etc it's pretty easy to get forgotten especially when the Tigers didn't give up all that much.

I agree with you that it was a great move but the Tigers are not the most improved this off season :/ They had a good off season but Cleveland, Boston notably had better. The good thing is that the Tigers didn't need all that much so it might just be irrelevant anyway :)</description>
