Verlander wins one award…another to follow?

Justin Verlander was named Most Outstanding Rookie in the American League by the MLB Players Choice Awards Wednesday.

The Rookie of the Year Award is set for Monday and is voted on by the Baseball Writers Association.

    I will be very dissapointed if Verlander does not win roty. Of the few guys that are deserving of this honor, he is the only one who played a full season at the major league level. He also played a very large role in helping the Tigers to reach the World Series. Hopefully, the writers will see it this way as well. Of course, I am biased.
