		<description>Spending a few years as a bench coach with an experienced hand like Piniella is the move Trammell should have made, rather than taking the Tigers job.  Not that it would have been easy to turn down a head job with "Your" team.  But he now has the stench of 2003, deserved or not, following him.

Trammell needs a few years to go by to let the Tigers fiasco become a distant memory before he can even think about taking on another team.  So taking the Cubbies gig is a good career move.  Other than it being the Cubs, of course...</description>
