Yankees trade for Abreu
posted in trade rumors |New York, realizing it can’t save runs, decided to try to add runs in the body of Bobby Abreu. They are also picking up Cory Lidle. And basically giving away nothing but a pair of minor leaguers, although one was their 2005 first-round pick. But that’s how they roll. What the Yankees want, the Yankees get. There’s still some i’s to dot and t’s to cross, but in all likelyhood this is a done deal.
Let’s just see if this one works out for them any better than past additions.
