SI’s Jacob Luft (who?) doesn’t trust Tigers
posted in Out-of-Town Media |Jacob Luft thinks Detroit’s record (10-12 against teams over .500) means they aren’t for real. And that their pace for 808 runs isn’t enough. He could be right. His point about the need to score runs in more varied ways certainly is valid. But for the most part, he didn’t write a real great one and he’s getting called for it in the comments on his use of statistics by so many people I don’t have to bother. I just link so you can read both sides.
Although sometimes I wonder if people write over-the-top things just to get a lot of feedback and hits to the Web site.
